Timesheets, approval, and payroll CSV
After hours sit on a client code, signed-in Operations builds a Monday–Sunday timesheet from those allocations, submits it, then approves or rejects. Only approved weeks are in the payroll CSV. Employees still see the same tray icon on the company PC.
“Edit” means change allocations on Projects, then rebuild the draft. There is no inline cell editor and no idle or app breakdown on Timesheets. Those rows stay on Team and Exports — three CSVs on /reports. There is no ADP or Gusto sync, no auto-pay, and no automatic billing. The CSV is a file you download.
Public Search “what are timesheets”, “timesheets”, “open timesheets”, “edit timesheet”, “time entries”, or “how to edit timesheets” stays here. It will not approve a week or download a CSV. After you sign in, Ask “timesheets”, “open timesheets”, “edit timesheet”, or “time entries” opens Timesheets; “build draft” opens /timesheets#week; “payroll csv” or “export payroll” opens /timesheets#payroll; “submit timesheet”, “approve timesheet”, or “reject timesheet” opens /timesheets#sheets; “how to edit timesheets” or “timesheets tutorial” opens Help. Ask “auto-pay employees from timesheets”, “ADP certified”, or “sync timesheets to QuickBooks” is refused.
- Allocate hours on Projects.
- Build the week’s draft from those allocations.
- Submit and approve — or reject and leave that week off the CSV.
- Export approved rows as CSV for the payroll tool you already use.
What this is not
- Not the operations home. Today’s roster lives on Team after sign-in.
- Not manager activity CSVs. Those live on Exports. Ask “export activity” or “download csv” after sign-in.
- Not idle or app time. Timesheet lines are allocated hours only.
- Not a hidden tracker. The tray stays visible.
- Not auto-pay. Ask “auto-pay employees from timesheets” is refused.
- Not ADP certified, Gusto certified, or a payroll-provider sync. Ask “ADP certified” is refused.
- Not QuickBooks sync. Ask “sync timesheets to QuickBooks” is refused. The three Reports CSVs stay on Exports — not a payroll warehouse.
- Not automatic billing. Seats stay $7 / seat. This page does not start checkout.
- Not a done-for-you payroll run. Public Search will not approve a week.
