Screenshot interval, blur, and retention
Screenshots stay off until an admin turns them on. The tray icon stays visible either way. Send the employee notice before the first capture. VisibleHours does not record keystrokes, clipboard, webcam, or microphone. Idle minutes, org timezone honesty, device pairing, and $7 seats also live on signed-in Settings. Public Search stays on this page and will not configure company settings.
- Leave screenshots off, or turn them on in Settings.
- Set the interval (1–60 minutes). Agents pick it up on the next heartbeat.
- Keep blur on so text on the screen is hard to read.
- Set retention (1–365 days, or 0 to keep). Saving deletes older shots in your organization only.
What this is not
- Not on by default. A new org captures zero screenshots.
- Not a hidden camera. The tray stays in the system tray.
- Not a cross-org archive. Retention and files stay inside one organization.
