Read a person’s day: timeline, apps, and idle
Open a name on Team. That day shows labeled windows, idle blocks, and optional screenshots, recordings, and check-ins. Empty is not a hidden watcher.
Click a name on Team. That page is one person and one date: the timeline of labeled windows, idle blocks, and — only if you turned them on — screenshots, recordings, and check-ins. The tray on the company PC is still the live disclosure. Empty is honest: no windows landed that day, or the invite has not registered a device yet.
Team is signed-in. Public Search “person timeline”, “employee timeline”, “who is online”, or “employee timeline tutorial” stays on /download. After you sign in, Ask “employee timeline”, “view person”, “person timeline”, or “open team” opens Team so you can pick the person. Ask “how to use team”, “team tutorial”, “employee timeline tutorial”, or “how to read a timeline” opens the Team tutorial. Ask “dashboard tutorial” opens the operations home tutorial. Ask “live GPS map of all employees”, “hidden team spy view”, or “competitor HRIS clone” is refused. Ask “please staff my roster” is refused.
Open the day, leave the week elsewhere
- Sign in. Land on Team. Today’s pulse is at the top; the roster is below.
- Click a person. Read the timeline: Productive, Unproductive, Unclassified, or Idle — labels come from the rules you already wrote.
- Apps for that date sit on the same page. Screenshots, recordings, and check-ins are tabs, not a second tracker.
- Date-range CSVs live on Exports. Daily percentages live on Scores. A Monday–Sunday payroll week lives on Timesheets.
No device means the invite exists but Setup.exe has not registered. Copy the code again from Team. An empty device list is not a hidden watcher. Idle minutes live on Settings. The idle, pause, and offline guide names those three states.
What this is not
- Not a live GPS map of all employees and not a keylogger.
- Not a hidden team spy view. Shots list on this person’s day when capture is on.
- Not a competitor HRIS clone. This page is one person and one date.
- Not a weekly coaching note. That reading lives on Insights.
- Not a public page. Site search will not open a person’s day.
- Not outreach. VisibleHours will not write a performance review from a timeline.
